Henry George may have lived in the 19th century, but his ideas still resonate today. On October 24th, the Progress and Poverty Institute and the Henry George Foundation of Canada co-hosted an event – “Henry George in the 21st Century” – that brought together both organization’s leadership, alongside former head of the Green Party of Ontario, Frank de Jong, to discuss exactly what it means to bring George’s philosophy to life in today’s world.
From tariffs, to the housing crisis, to our nations’ tax structures, Henry George still has much to teach us about how to create a just and productive society. Watch the event recording below.
